Over the past 20 years, Richard and Meleta, owners of the Wembley Gallery, have built an impressive collection titled *100 Years of Australian Fine Art* in their modest 1950s Wembley home, featuring works by 50 notable Australian artists. Earlier this year, they welcomed the WASA Committee to view their private collection, where we were lucky enough to see original pieces by Howard Arkley, Clarice Beckett, Charles Blackman, William Boissevain, Arthur Boyd, Elizabeth Durack, Ian Fairweather, Norman Lindsay, Sidney Nolan, Margaret Olley, Lin Onus, Robert Klippel, and many more. It was an unforgettable experience. |
