What to do if you are SCAMMED

SECURITY ALERT

There has been another round of scams. Please take the following precautions:

1. Ensure that you have adequate security measures in place, not only on your computer but also on your mobile phone.

2. If you receive an email from any committee member or WASA member that seems suspicious, for example, an email stating, “I am in a meeting at the moment, can you…” please check the legitimacy of the email address.

3. Do not open suspicious emails.

4. If you do click on phishing scams:  Phishing | Cyber.gov.au

5. For more information about phishing scams, Phishing | Cyber.gov.au

6. Alternatively, delete the email immediately if you suspect it is a scam.

Stay safe!
