Meredith Sonder-Sorensen, a local Western Australian artist, began painting in her late forties after illness forced her to retire from physiotherapy. She had the good fortune to study at the Claremont Art School and learn from respected artists like Leanne Pearson and Jana Vodesill-Baruffi. What began as therapy soon grew into a passion.
A colourist at heart, she especially enjoys creating portraits of children.
Her mantra is to learn something new each day and to “fail gloriously” along the way.
