WASA has organised a Ceramics Workshop at Studio P in Mt Hawthorn for members. Studio P is a very successful pottery studio which offers lots of varied courses and has an ever-expanding membership. It is a fantastic ceramic space owned by partners, Katie and Vaughan, who create unique and beautiful pottery. The studio recently relocated to bigger and better space above the Jazz Cellar, Buxton St, Mt Hawthorn.
The workshop will be based on learning how to use clay and appropriate tools to create slab vases. Katie will be the instructor and will take you through the stages of making a beautiful unique vase.
All materials, glazing, and kiln fees are included along with use of necessary tools. It is advisable to trim your fingernails and wear old clothes/an apron. Clay washes off.
