BEVERLEY PLEIN AIR ART CAMP FOR WASA MEMBERS

23rd and 24th April 2022
Planning is underway for the first WASA Plein Air Art Camp in Beverley, with the dates now confirmed with the Beverley artists. The dates for the camp are the 23rd and 24th of April and several WASA members have already expressed their interest in joining this event.
Beverley is easily accessible from the Perth metro area, about one and a half hours by road. The town has interesting rural scenery and a historical built environment. The town has a very active arts community and we look forward to meeting some local artists. The plan is that members make their own travel and accommodation arrangements. There is the possibility of car sharing. Beverley has two hotels and a caravan park with six on-site units. There are also free 48-hour caravan sites near the river and some of B&Bs. There is also accommodation in neighbouring towns of York and Brookton. More details of the camp and arrangements for the trip will become available as the planning progresses.
